Tyler leads the activities of Sturgeon County Economic Development including department strategy, stakeholder outreach, investment attraction, business retention and expansion efforts. He plays a key role in regional economic development initiatives alongside stakeholders such as Alberta's Industrial Heartland Association (AIHA) and Edmonton Global (EG).
With over a decade of experience in business development, strategic planning and governance, Tyler provides strategic advice to Sturgeon County's Council and Senior Leadership Team (SLT), and is a champion for economic expansion and diversification in our community. In addition to leading the activities of Sturgeon County Economic Development, Tyler works alongside investors looking to advance large, complex projects in the County, while actively pursuing ways to diversify the local economy and increase value-added opportunities for local businesses.

Mike provides customized investment attraction and advisory services to developers and investors looking to advance projects in Sturgeon County. He works with companies, site selectors and developers involved in the heavy industrial, advanced manufacturing and transportation and logistics industries. Mike also acts as project lead on initiatives involving the Edmonton Airshow and Economic Advisory Board.
Mike has significant experience in both the private and public sector, joining Sturgeon County after working on business development initiatives for the Petrochemicals Diversification Program (PDP) at Alberta Economic Development and Trade (EDT). He has extensive knowledge and sector expertise in multiple industries including: upstream, midstream and downstream oil and gas; petrochemicals; advanced manufacturing; transportation and logistics and; cannabis.

As Economic Development Coordinator, Amy organizes all activities of the Sturgeon County Economic Development team. This includes event management, business visits, tours, celebrations and marketing and communications planning. Amy also coordinates all the activities and meetings for the Economic Development Advisory Board,
Amy works on Tourism and Small Business initiatives and has over 15 years of experience as a professional administrator and over 20 years of event planning experience. Amy's focus is providing supports to small and medium sized businesses by executing events and initiatives that provide information on how to grow, diversify, access available funding and allow for networking opportunities.
